Drukair – Royal Bhutan Airlines about a cooperation with BAA Training

Drukair – Royal Bhutan Airlines, is the flag carrier of the Kingdom of Bhutan, which operates a schedule network within the South Asian region from its Head Quarters at Paro, a picturesque Valley in Western Bhutan. Bhutan airline operates 3 Airbus A319-100 and 1 ATR 42-500 aircraft. The company contacted the Lithuania based aviation academy when they needed one additional ATR 42-500 pilot.

“BAA Training guided us in a variety of issues. The team of aviation academy employees helped us with visas and pilot accommodation during the training. We would have been looking for a second pilot for a long time, but BAA Training has a strong and captivating self-sponsored network of pilots. At the time we needed the most, the academy founded a co-pilot and provided ATR 42/72 type rating training for our pilot,” notices a Captain Sonam Choeda, Head of Department Flight Operations and Crew Training at DrukAir Corporations Limited.
