Case Study: FlyViking
FlyViking AS is a Norwegian airline which operates regional flights in Norway. It is a start-up company which contacted BAA Training for Cabin Crew training in the middle of 2016. After a broad comparison of aviation training offers on the market, FlyViking chose BAA Training as a Cabin Crew and Pilot Conversion course provider for Bombardier Dash 8 type aircraft.
“We hire experienced flight attendants who will operate in a single cabin crew environment within FlyViking, therefore we decided to work with BAA Training. All our crew, both cabin crew and pilots, have completed their Operator Conversion Course in Lithuania. Excellent learning environment and facilities guarantee not only a sufficient knowledge for trainees, but also provides the basis for safety assurance during flights. FlyViking chose BAA Training over their competitors mainly because of the flexibility they offered. Training programmes, pricing and other aspects are almost identical with all training providers, however, BAA Training was the most flexible in adjusting timeframes and curriculum to our individual requirements,” comments Willem Hemink, Training Manager of FlyViking.
